Writing about my visit here on March 31st. This is a lovely neighbourhood spot in Leaside with some of the friendliest service I've experienced. My husband got the steak and eggs and he really enjoyed it. I got the fried chicken sandwich. It's honestly one of the best chicken sandwiches in the city - the key is the bun they use (I believe it's either baked in house or at their sister bakery). It's sturdy enough to hold all the deliciousness of the perfectly crispy and juicy fried chicken + the sauce, without completely falling apart midway through the eating process. I'm actually craving it right now, which is how I remembered I should probably get on here and leave a review.
The owner was super gracious and gave us a complimentary Portuguese custard tart since my husband had to wait a few extra minutes for his toast. It was still warm, straight out of the oven, completely magical - took me back to Lisbon!
Overall, great food and service - can't wait to go back. -

Yes this is your local neighbourhood cafe. So disappointed in the vegan tostada. It was maybe 5 inches wide with strips of red pepper and onions. There was no love put into the food. Came with a side of plain arugula with dressing and shoestring fries. Costs $14. Not impressed. Definitely will not go back.

This new brunch spot near my work is quite cute. Their menu is quite small but they have daily specials.
I had the pulled pork taco special and ordered a side salad with it.
Pretty good! I had a cappuccino with that and my bill came to $21 excluding tip.
The atmosphere was very casual and very very friendly!
Definitely going back real soon! -

This is a neighbourhood gem. My only regret is not going sooner.
I walked in the door with my husband and cranky 4 year old and tired 23 month old sons. Right away, we were seated and my sons started going through their collection of kid's books. Cranky son made a complete turnaround when his Belgian waffles were served with magic card and coin tricks.
Highly recommend the fried chicken sandwich served hot, crispy and with crunchy coleslaw. Breakfast sandwich was tasty too.
You can tell that this place cares about their food and the happiness of their customers. -

Must go! The food is amazing and the service was even better. Had the steak and eggs with a latte followed by a Portuguese pudding cup. Even got some blackberry jam to bring home. Thank you again Ryan everything was fantastic.
